This year they are putting on Arthur Miller's well-known play The Crucible, which tells the story of the Salem witch trials in America in 1692, when some village girls accused of witchcraft claimed that they had been bewitched by other apparently righteous members of the community. Afghan Heroes Fundraiser - Norfolk Arena, Saddlebow Rd, King's Lynn
On September 4th and 5th 2010 over 450 bikers from around the UK took part in a charity ‘Burgan’ Relay in support of raising money for Afghan Heroes. The route, consisted of 60 legs, which went anticlockwise around the UK passing through major towns and cities. The ‘Burgan’ (army rucksack), which has been taken on a number of tours of duties in Afghanistan and Iraq, was be relayed from biker to biker. The first event of its kind, the aim was to create the biggest motorbike relay in the UK. We want to celebrate the success of achieving this by holding this event for the public and raising even more money for Afghan Heroes. Find a Grave - Hardwick Road Cemetery, King's Lynn
The final 'Find a family grave day' of the year. The Secretary of the Friends will be there with the database of all burials in the cemetery from 1855 to 2009 as well as plans of all the grave sections allowing you to find that elusive family grave. Cost of the search and plan is £1.00 per name. It will also be possible to purchase a CD containing the transcribed burial register covering over 35,000 names for the introductory cost of £20.00
